Most clients come in with back pain, however massage therapy can help carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, thoracic outlet syndrome, and more. You don't have to be in pain to recieve treatment but regular massages are a great way to prevent general aches and pains.

An hour treatment is $65 or a half hour is $40. Gyms have filled up with plenty of new comers and people who will probably never come again after January. Unfortunately this is the case for about 85% of people who join a gym for a New Year's Resolution.

Adherence with these New Year's Resolutions diminish mainly because of 3 factors: little time, it's painful, and it can be emberassing for some people. When people are overly busy, the first thing to go is exercise. Waking up after your first workout in months or even years can be tough; tough to get out of bed, tough to walk, tough to bend, basically tough to function. It's always intimidating when you know that you're 20 pounds overweight lifting puny weights while the monster of a man beside you is lifting unimagineable weights.

So why do we exercise? For most, it's important to exercise for their health, no other way to put it. All people have different goals; one may be to decrease their weight, heart disease, osteoporosis, or body fat percentage. Whatever the case may be, exercise is needed.

Here are some tips to feeling better after your workouts:

* STRETCH before your workout
* Drink lots of water!
* Don't OVEREXERT yourself (overexertion often leads to injury)
* Always have a stable position when lifting weights
* Take the time to COOLDOWN for 5 minutes after your workout
* STRETCH after your workout
* Drink more water!
* Take a hot shower or hot epsom salts bath after your workout

I hope that these tips help you in your quest to a better you.
Remember, even if you make an effort to go to the gym for 30 minutes once a week, it's a start. Be proud and keep improving.Will Lauder, RMThttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18296154807115279078noreply@blogger.com0
